building ramp - two ramp plans |
|
Hey guys!
I plan to build a fqx ramp (trail). I chose an aussie comp one. But a friend of mine who does fmx and who has aussie comp ramp told me that he thinks that there is a better ramp and sent me it's photo:
What do you think which ramp would be better, aussie comp or the second one?

Ask him what gap he jumps it at. The transition looks a little steep. Also maybe see how wide it is. If it's only 4 ft wide I wouldn't take it.

I don't want to buy ramp from the photo, I want to build it, but I dont know which plan to choose. it has two meters straight at the end and aussie comp has constant radius 9.1
What ramp do you use?

hey man, i would go with the 2 foot or more of flat at the top of the ramp. it will be alot more predictabel than the aussie comps continuious raidius, that tends to throw your nose low if your not carfull, with the flat spot at the top of the ramp, it will throw you the same everytime.
